One More Try

No, this post has nothing to do with the movie, though I wanted to watch it at that time but didn't. But I digress. This is (for lack of better term) a sorta last-ditch attempt at keeping myself from blowing up from all the food I'm eating losing some much-needed weight. I am by no means obese, in fact I am still within the upper range of the normal BMI for my height. But I am vain like that so sue me. So, you say, what is this post really about?

After reading Liz's (first name basis talaga, feeling close? lol) good feedback about CarbTrim in Project Vanity, I decided to finally try it out for myself. See, for someone who wants to lose weight, I have a voracious very healthy appetite and was never one for dieting. So this oughtta do the trick for me, right? I had wanted to try it ever since it came out but was too chicken to until I became really desperate determined to lose weight. So last night, I got myself a box each of its two flavors, Apple and Lemon. There was a on-going promo and I got an extra sachet per box.



I just had one half an hour before lunch. There were no funny smells or anything and it tastes just like your regular lemon iced tea. I slurped it down in less than a minute. I must be really thirsty, or just that excited? Whatever. Come lunchtime, I only ate a cup of noodles but I felt almost full anyway. Not bad for a start.

The recommended usage is thrice a day (one before every meal) but since I do not eat breakfast (even my digestive system is not a morning person thing), I would make do with just twice a day (for lunch and dinner). The two boxes should last me a whole week then. We'll see what happens in a week, I'd definitely blog about it (proceeds to create a reminder of such in Any.DO).

  1. Hahaha, bumili din ako nito, pano ba naman, I get hunger pangs sa hapon (i.e., between lunch and going home from work).

    And no, hindi ko sya binili para magpapayat, dahil hindi ako gano naniniwala na nakakapayat sya. Binili ko dahil mas matipid sya kesa bumili ng meryenda hahaha. And effective naman, hindi na ako nagugutom.

    1. Talaga? So kelan mo cya exactly iniinom? Hehe. As it is, nagutom na ko ngayon hapon kahit uminom ako kanina, pero di naman kasing-lala ng usual na sumasakit talaga tyan ko. Tamang parang nawalan na lang ng laman. Hehe.

    2. Iniinom ko lang sya kapag nagmeryenda na ako sa hapon tapos gutom pa din ako. Hahaha. Last week kasi, pagtingin ko sa wallet ko, ubos ko na agad yung budget ko for the week, Wednesday pa lang. I blame meryenda, nung nag-snack ako, snack take 2, pa dahil gutom pa din. So, for snack take-2, carbtrim na lang.

    3. Ahh. Okies. Mas mapapamahal naman ako kung lunch and dinner pati meryenda eh naka-CarbTrim pa ko. Haha. Light snacks na lang pag hapon, wag lang di malamnan ang tyan.
